Revisiting Christmas: Ancient Jewish Expectations, Christian Interpretations, and Interreligious Responses Today
Amy-Jill Levine will speak at St. Stephen's Church on December 2 at 7 p.m. This event, sponsored by All Saints', St. Mary's, St. Paul's, and St. Stephen's Episcopal churches, and by Mrs. Frances Eakin in loving memory of her husband Dr. Frank Eakin, is open to the entire community, though seating will be limited to ensure safe distancing, and masks and proof of vaccination are required for all. There will be time for questions, and if COVID public health metrics indicate it is safe to do so, we will offer a simple reception afterwards.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
There is no charge for admission, but a donation to defray the costs of this event is appreciated. You may use our online giving platform HERE (select Amy-Jill Levine from the drop-down menu), or bring or mail a donation to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 6000 Grove Avenue, Richmond, VA 23226. Please make checks payable to St. Stephen's and write "Amy-Jill Levine" in the memo line. Thank you!
This event will NOT be livestreamed or recorded.
