Annual Giving
Campaign update
Wonderful news: we have surpassed both our participation goal and our financial goal! As of February 4, 2024, we had received 807 pledges totaling $2,562,565! Thank you to all who have participated thus far.
It is never too late to make a pledge. If you value the ministries of this community of faith, we invite you to support them with an annual commitment here.
One Body. One Spirit. One Hope.
One body, one spirit, one hope: these words open the baptismal service, form us as the Body of Christ, and send us out into the world in hope. St. Stephen’s is a big church with a myriad of worship services and ministries, but we are drawn together around the baptismal font. We see it every time we enter the church. It is a source of unity, a symbol of healing and renewal, an inspiration for ministry. Our youngest and oldest members dip their fingers there to remember who they are, God’s beloved children.
As we carry out our ministries in the parish, the community, and the world, we continue to be committed to worship that moves, teaching that inspires, pastoral care that connects, front porch ministries that welcome, and outreach initiatives that call us into the world in love. All of this is only made possible by your generous support. As we look toward 2024, we need your help to continue to grow and flourish. We are one body, called by one spirit, empowered by one hope.
Pledge cards/online form
This year's pledge card is a tear-off panel in the annual giving campaign brochure. If you do not have one, please pick up a card at Information Central, or make your pledge online HERE.
Palmer Hall plans
Children and adults alike are invited to participate in supporting the life and health of this parish with an annual financial commitment. Parents and other adults are encouraged to make a financial pledge for 2024, while children may take home a giving box for collecting coins which they’ll bring back to church toward the end of the campaign. In the coming weeks, children will also have the opportunity to decide together which of St. Stephen’s outreach partners will receive the offerings from their giving boxes.
In Palmer Hall, we are focusing on participation goal: our goal is for at least 40 children who attend this service regularly will bring back giving boxes and for at least 40 families or households from the Palmer Hall community to submit pledges. We will gather pledge cards and giving boxes during the November 12 Palmer Hall service and celebrate the abundance of our life together on November 19, the closing day of the campaign.
All parishioners, regardless of which service(s) they usually attend, may pick up their pledge packet at the large table outside the fellowship hall on Sunday, October 15. Packets not picked up on Sunday will be mailed during the week.
