May Fair House foods
May Fair House casseroles and other specialties are prepared in our kitchen using tried-and-true recipes by volunteer cooking teams of women and men. Teams are supervised by ServSafe-certified staff. While these items are not available during the summer months, you may see a list of the dishes we sell from October through May. (Not all dishes are available at all times.)
+++
The May Fair House is run primarily by volunteers and overseen by a volunteer board. The shop has a wonderful selection of unusual gifts at great prices, and is famous for its jams, entrees and other delicious foods--all prepared by volunteers in the May Fair House kitchen. While shop volunteers and most of the cook teams are women, men also pitch in to cook delicious foods using tried-and-true recipes: chicken pot pie, spaghetti pie, beef burgundy and many, many more.
Proceeds are used for outreach projects selected by a grants committee.
Grants
Numerous volunteers keep expenses low to maximize the amount of money that can be used for outreach. Here's a list of the grants awarded in 2022.
