Boy Scout Troop 418
Boy Scout Troop 418, sponsored by St. Stephen's, was established in 1915. As a member of the Capital District and the oldest active troop in the Heart of Virginia Council, Troop 418 has been in existence for 100 years. During that time, the troop has worked to develop in its scouts an allegiance to God and country and a commitment to serving others. Along the way, these boys have learned practical life skills that ensure their survival in any environment—on a trail, in the classroom or, as adults, in the workplace. The troop has regular weekly meetings as well as hikes, camping trips and other outings and activities.
